Dr. Amanze is an indigene of Umuepe, Umunjo, lrete in Owerri-West L.G.A. He lives in the United States of America. He was a candidate for the Owerri-West Imo State House of Assembly seat in 2015.
A US Army veteran and intellectual property law scholar, Dr. Amanze is a seasoned legal practitioner, patent prosecutor, and business mogul.
He is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Engineering (the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree in Electrical Engineering. He is also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he earned the Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree.
A former member of the Journal of the Patent and Trademark Office Society (JPTOS), Dr. Amanze serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Review- (IPTLRev) – the Journal of Law, Intellectual Property & Technology.
Dr. Amanze’s professional and scholarly interests include US and Comparative Intellectual Property and International Law. He publishes the Suigeneris Blog and is a frequent commentator on contemporary issues related to world political and military history.
